Wow..... what an episode last night!!!!! So much shock and disbelief, and I think every viewer felt the same lol

The acting performances from Mark Charnock (Marlon) & Ameila Flanagan (April) were absolutely brilliant!!

The episode was a special episode mainly with the actors who play father & daughter which was so beautiful seeing them close again and talking about April growing up. I particular loved the hot chocolate/ marshmallow & sofa and the Halloween costume scenes. I was crying with the scenes when April revealed everything to her father about the drug ring, Dylan, Ray & Ceila and that she killed a man - Callum, who was being paid to sleep with her. She was defending herself against him.

I assumed the episode was just going to be just Marlon & April and then after Marlon was trying to convince his daughter that they needed to go to the police and tell them everything....Ray bursts in the door and tells April she shouldn't have told anyone. Marlon stood up to Ray saying "Get out of my house now, I'm calling the police!" as he had his phone in his hand, then suddenly Ray pulled the gun out and shot him straight away!!!! I was like "Oh my god, Marlon's been shot"

Marlon was on the floor clutching his stomach I think, (I can't remember where he actually got shot lol) and was struggling to breath. April was telling him how much she loved him etc. I was surprised she didn't ring an ambulance from Marlon's phone! I was in shock and disbelief as he looked like he was dying. I was shouting at the tv saying "No way, they are actually going to kill Marlon off." and "I can't believe this! They can't do that, surely not."

Then I thought, he's leaving the show after 30 odd years!

Of course I was crying lol I was wiping my eyes, and then I saw April was on the screen with her dad saying her name as if she had been day dreaming. Luckily she had been day dreaming all of what had just happened, in other words it didn't happen and it was just April's thought process.

I breathed a sigh of relief and said "Oh thank goodness, he's ok and hasn't been killed off." April gave her dad a hug and left ( I think that's what happened at the end lol) I remember seeing her walk out of the house when the credits started.

It took me a while to calm down after lol I was disappointed she hadn't told her father in a way but obviously relieved Marlon was still alive lol

I'm excited for the next few episodes as something is going to be revealed about Bear as we haven't seen him for 4 months! Some more special episodes to come!!
