🧼Thursday 25th September🧼Hollyoaks & ex Eastender star gets married!!
Rita Simons who plays Marie Fielding in Hollyoaks and Roxy Mitchell in Eastenders said "I do" to her partner West End star Ben Harlow whom she met whilst starring in the musical theatre production of Legally blonde five years ago.
They had their ceremony at Hidden River Barn in Carlisle in Cumbria
Rita was walked down the aisle by her friend Duncan James (from boyband Blue & ex Hollyoaks star) and they also got up on stage together to sing Blue's classic hit "All Rise"
She was also joined by her two 18 year old twin daughters Maiya & Jaimee who were her bridesmaids.
Rita has left her Hollyoaks role of Marie and her exit scenes will be in October but the storyline is being kept under wraps due to the 30th anniversary crossover episode with Brookside.
