A celebrity has had to quit the dancing competition before the launch!
Game Of Thrones actor and DJ - Kristian Nairn has sadly had to withdraw unfortunately.. The actor has said "With a heavy heart, I have to step back from this season of Strictly Come Dancing due to unexpected medical reasons. "I was truly looking forward to the journey, and I’m deeply sorry to disappoint anyone who was looking forward to seeing me on the dance floor. Thank you all for your support, and I will be back on my feet very soon, in every sense. Love to all, Kristian."
The replacement is another soap star!!! Well ex soap star lol it is.....
Emmerdale star Lewis Cope - Nicky Miligan who left the dales last year after 2 years in the soap. so Vicky Pattison has another Geordie joining her in SCD!!
Nicky has said "I got the phone call as I was walking down Oxford Street and it was like 'right, I've got to do it.' Now, the excitement has just taken over and I'm just all in."
It's very disappointing about Kristian having to leave but I'm super excited we have one more soap star taking part!!
