Personal Update!!!
Hi Soapies and any other folk reading this, first things first apologies I haven't posted for over a week!!! We had family down for a few days which was lovely🙂
I also went to the theatre with a friend on Friday to watch Here & Now- Steps the musical which was absolutely fantastic!! I've loved Steps since they first came out in the 90's and their first single 5678 which I of course bought on cassette single lol
My friend has also like Steps since forever and many years ago she was coming with me and our other friend to see them at the o2 arena but she sadly couldn't make it then so it was lovely to go to this show with her. Not sure if we were allowed to sing and dance/do dance routines in our seats but we did!!! 😂
The show was amazing and set in a supermarket -great storylines and they managed to fit in so many of Steps songs into the whole thing!!
we were sat near the back which was really good and had a great view and we could enjoy it more I think without worry about annoying other people! lol Some people a few seats next to us were enjoying it too and some girls in front of us were having a drinky 🍷and were clearly having fun too which was nice to see- they were going more crazy them us in their seats lol
Then at the end there was people on the stage in trench coats we couldn't see...us two and the whole audience got excited that Steps (all members ) were gonna reveal themselves as it was the opening night of the show but unfortunately it wasn't but it was the very talented cast coming back on stage to do a medley of Steps hits where we could all get up, sing and dance (do the routines lol and ordinary dancing when forgot the moves lol)
Saturday and Sunday we watched cooking shows Saturday Kitchen and Sunday Brunch. Claire & Faye from Steps was on Sunday Brunch promoting Here & Now and it was nice to hear how passionate about the musical project that's been in the making for 10 years apparently. I was wondering if they were going to say they had maybe appeared at my local theatre on the Saturday (when we weren't there) but they didn't and said they were appearing at some other theatres. We will have to wait until Steps do a tour before we can see them live!!
