News I've just heard is that Vicky Pattison and dance pro partner Kai Widdrington had to pull out of appearing on It Takes Two yesterday due to a bad cold they both have. I hope they get better soon and can dance on Saturday night and they don't have to withdraw from competition. I like Vicky and she really good, better than she thinks she is. Their Foxtrot to Sam Fender & Olivia Dean's song 'Rein Me in' was beautiful and they got 6's from all the judges which with last week's and this week's score they have 47 so they are joint 7th on the leaderboard with soap star Balvinder Sopal & dance pro partner Julian Caillon.

Talking of Balvinder & Julian Caillon, they danced a brilliant Charleston to Meghan Trainor & T-Pain's song 'Been Like This' This style of dance suited her a bit better than the Samba the week before. She really looked the part with her outfit and head band, she seemed to handle the Charleston moves really well and loved her facial expressions. The prop at the start of the routine was great-an old style open top car, Julian had his driving hat and goggles on land and he had a fake steering wheel lol He helped his partner out of the car and the dancing began and I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish! The judges did too has they got higher scores than last week as they had got 4's and a 5 then but received two 7's & two 8's which I think they were shocked by but they did deserve them.

I didn't vote for Vicky & Kai or Balvinder & Julian as i had a feeling they would be ok going through and I liked so many of the others too.

This year its online voting only as they got rid of phoning which suited me as always voted online anyway as most people do. We get 5 votes and I swear we only got 3 last time! lol

I voted for Ross & Jowita (yes not the best dancer of the group but I think he is most improved liked the judges said and their dance made me cry. Also voted for La Viox & Aljaz, Ellie & Vito (They are adorable together and I think Vito looks after Ellie so well), and Stefan & Dianne (Poor Stefan made some mistakes the judges said but he really throws himself into every dance) I think and I loved their Cha Cha Cha to KC & The Sunshine Band's song 'Give It Up' especially the sliding on the floor on their knees lol Unfortunately their scores weren't as god as last week and Stefan tripped going up the stairs just before he got his scores, but Dianne helped him.

Thomas Skinner (The Apprentice star/Market worker) and Amy Dowden were the first Strictly pair to leave the show. Amy's speech about how her dance partner had given her confidence to dance again and she wants to celebrate being alive bought me to tears bless her.
