🧼Tuesday 6th January🧼CorrieDale!! Containing Spoilers!!

What a night of soap history being made did we watch on our screens yesterday evening!!! I thought it was absolutely fantastic and done very well!!

It started with half an hour episodes of Emmerdale & Coronation Street with flash backs at the beginning leading up to the point of Corriedale in each individual soap which I'm glad they showed as I had forgotten some bits lol

I was watching a bit behind as I was doing an online zoom meeting that finished at 8pm. Luckily I had recorded them so I could fast forward the adverts and be up to date ready for the hour long Corriedale. I managed to watch it all the way through still being able to skip the adverts! lol

So many twists and turns were happening and the whole show was so thrilling and exciting!! It was shot well and in the dark which made it difficult to sometimes work out who is who and because it was very fast paced, you really couldnt take your eyes off the screen. It being in the dark made it tricky to follow at times especially in the woodland. I think it was done like that on purpose though to add to the atmsophere etc. I did have to rewind a few bits to check wat happened lol

The acting in soaps yesterday especially CorrieDale was off the scale!! We had a soap comeback of Graham Foster (Emmerdale) who we thought had died back in 2020! He's obviously managed to fake his own death somehow!! They kept the mystery of who he was until the end as he was walking around the crash scene and hospital with a black hoodie on and the reveal was exciting. I wasn't expecting it to be him at all!! I had to rewind it and pause to make sure I knew who it was.

The mystery girl who was tied up in (Jai's van I think) is still a mystery lol Also Ray's body was in there but laid undiscovered. Who has killed Ray?

• Laurel Thomas - We saw her looking very flustered cleaning some scissors and putting them in the drawer.
• Rhona Goskirk - She made a mysterious phonecall to someone saying "Have you done it?"
• Marlon Dingle - He and his wife have been under pressure to protect April and the whole family. we saw him acting suspiciously and sending a text.
• Ross Barton - We saw him and April in Ross’s car, with Ross asking April if she was OK, to which she replied, ‘I will be.’ Ross then said it was probably best they ‘didn’t mention this to anyone.’ He said that he had April’s back, always.
• Jai Sharma - Drugs were trafficked through Caleb’s depot, former drug addict Jai is soon implicated. He has a motive, as the police know he is Laurels ex, which means they may think he could be jealous about her relationship with Ray even though the viewers know Jai and Kerry have a little thing going on.

There are more suspects in frame too.

It was so lovely to see all the characters from each soap interact with each other but especially the scenes with two characters in like Charity and Carla in the lift, Pregnant Charity and Shona in waiting room at the hospital, Ken and Eric by the vending machine, and others.

Lucky to have all those medics happened to be available like Asha, Jacob, Liam and John (although he didn't save anyone in CorrieDale from what I remember lol)

Loved the ending with the song 'Side' - Travis and the scenery of the landscape and the sun coming up and the credits was beautiful.
